# Buy a new digital number

<Info>The following information is useful IF you couldn't find a phone number for your country with SMS capabilities, or want to use a toll-free phone number</Info>

If you want to buy a new virtual number, you can do it with Twilio [following this guide.](https://help.twilio.com/articles/223135247-How-to-Search-for-and-Buy-a-Twilio-Phone-Number-from-Console)

**When using a digital number, you'll need to verify ownership of the number with Meta through a phone call.**

To do so, you'll need to set up call-redirects so that when Meta calls you with a verification code, you can answer in a different phone, to do it you just need to:

    Twilio by defaults blocks calls made to high-risk destinations (like Mexico). To allow them, go to [this page on Twilio's console](https://console.twilio.com/us1/develop/voice/settings/geo-permissions?frameUrl=%2Fconsole%2Fvoice%2Fcalls%2Fgeo-permissions%2Flow-risk%3FcountryIsoCode%3DMX%26x-target-region%3Dus1\&currentFrameUrl=%2Fconsole%2Fvoice%2Fcalls%2Fgeo-permissions%2Fhigh-risk%3F__override_layout__%3Dembed%26countryIsoCode%3DMX%26x-target-region%3Dus1%26bifrost%3Dtrue) and using the search bar make sure your country is selected, then click on Save. **Make sure its selected in both Low-Risk AND High-Risk**.

    Test that if you call your new Twilio phone number, the number you forwarded it to is the one that rings. If this works, you're all set!
