# Editing a contact

If you wish to add attributes for a contact or change the contact's information, you can do so by editing the contact.

To do this go to your [contact list](https://app.hilos.io/contact) and look for the contact you wish to edit. Click on the edit button on the right side of the contact's information and you will be redirected to the contact's page.

On the contact's page you can edit the contact's information and add attributes. You can also add a note to the contact's timeline.

When you are done editing the contact, click on the **Update** button on the bottom right corner of the page.
