# Searching inside a conversation

To find messages inside a conversation first go to your [Inbox](https://app.hilos.io/inbox/) and click on a conversation. Then click on the **Search** button on the top of the conversation, next to the conversation status.

On the sidebar that appeared type the text you wish to search for, any matching query will appear on the sidebar.
